About the studio

Crashing By Design is a vehicle for the commercial design of Brendan Eve – music lover extraordinaire, family man, novice vege gardener and connoisseur of clean, effective, fresh, conceptual design.

Where does it happen?

I do this all in Canberra, Australia, and have been since Crashing By Design got started back in 2004. I love to work with local businesses and clients, but enjoy taking on projects from anywhere at all in the world. Whether its holding meetings, showing mockups or final designs or just tracking projects, I like to use technology to bridge the gap and allow the project to flourish regardless of physical distance.

Collaboration is the key

I use the term 'we' or 'our' a bit across this site, even though I'm a one-man show. It's because I'm often collaborating with other design or technical specialists to provide the complete solution to our clients. But more importantly, I rarely do a job where a significant contribution to the final product doesn't come from the client. It's not all about me, it's about what we can do together.

Concept is king

If you need a website for any purpose, or a way to brand or market your company or business, then I can help. Beautiful website or print design is only one aspect of what I can do to achieve this, however. One of my specialties is the concept – I've got this knack for taking in raw info about what you do and what you hope to achieve and coming up with a clever, unique and completely appropriate idea that says exactly what you want to say.

Get in touch

If it sounds like I might be able to help you, drop me a line. We can talk about your requirements and bounce some ideas around. Maybe we can work together. There's only one way to find out.
